2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Facilitate and manage restaurant reservations

  • Improve our services
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain system security and prevent fraud

3. WhatsApp and Messaging

TableSeer uses WhatsApp messaging technology to enable reservation-related communication between diners and restaurants.

When diners send messages to a participating restaurant:

  • Messages may be processed and stored by TableSeer to manage reservations.
  • Messages may be transmitted through WhatsApp’s platform and are subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policies and terms.
  • TableSeer uses message content only for reservation-related purposes and service improvement.

4. Role of TableSeer (Data Processor vs. Controller)

For diner reservation data, the restaurant is the primary data controller and TableSeer acts as a data processor, handling information on behalf of the restaurant to provide the Service.

Restaurants are responsible for:

  • Providing appropriate privacy disclosures to their diners
  • Ensuring lawful collection of personal data

For website visitors and restaurant account holders, TableSeer may act as the data controller.

We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Service, meet our contractual obligations, and comply with legal requirements. Restaurants may request deletion of reservation data in accordance with applicable laws.

6. Data Sharing

We may share information:

  • With WhatsApp and related messaging infrastructure providers
  • When required by law or legal process
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or business transfer

We require service providers to protect data appropriately.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

If you access our services from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred and processed internationally. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place where required by law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to processing, or request portability of your personal data.

Diners should contact the restaurant directly for requests related to reservation data. Restaurants and website users may contact us at [Your Contact Email].

10. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to understand website usage, improve user experience, and maintain session security. Users may adjust browser settings to control cookies.
